RTSCO: Crossover Roof Stairs
Roof crossover stairs provide safe, OSHA-compliant passage over rooftop obstacles including gas and mechanical pipes, condensate pipes, electrical conduit, duct, and changes in rooftop elevation.
The RTSCO Crossover Roof Stairs allow pedestrian traffic to pass safely over a variety of rooftop obstacles. The design uses less material than conventional solutions and reduces installation time on the job site. Modified RTSF21 rubber bases are non-penetrating and will not harm the roof surface.
Each unit is constructed from high-strength steel framing with 12-gauge anti-slip grating and safety railings. Standard configurations include a 36″ wide platform with a 9″ rise and 9-1/2″ run stair layout. They support up to 460 lb. concentrated load at 36″ wide.
All material ships are cut to length and ready to assemble with common hand tools. No cutting, welding, or rigging is required on site. Custom sizes are available upon request for obstacles that fall outside standard span and height dimensions.
